Padel86

I was recently approached by a serial entrepreneur who is looking to set up a Padel tennis centre in London. The rapidly-growing racket sport was created in Mexico and has become hugely popular all across Europe in recent years.

My research into the origins of the sport led me to the iconic typography and design of the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico, which in turn spawned the name “Padel86”.

Once the logo and colour scheme were agreed I started rolling the brand out and created some business cards as well as an all-important pitch deck which has been presented to a number of investors and landlords of potential sites across the capital.
